I started my career as a Magician Assistant at the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum — my very first job, and the job I held when I created this GitHub account.
These days I work on open source — though more than open source development itself, what I really care about is community maintenance and knowledge sharing:
- Community Steward of p5.js, focusing on i18n and DevOps — p5.js is a JavaScript library for creative coding, built to make programming accessible and inclusive for artists, designers, educators, and beginners.
- Contributor to Symphony (donated by Microsoft to the Eclipse Foundation) — an open-source orchestration platform that declaratively deploys and manages workloads across distributed edge and cloud targets.
- Maintainer and one of the core contributors of rust2go — a high-performance Rust–Go FFI framework that lets the two languages call each other with native async support and no serialization overhead.
- Refactoring rust2go: One Month, Twenty Small PRs — a retrospective on a month-long, twenty-PR refactor of rust2go.
